Boba Fett costume

Post by Metaltrooper on Wed 27 May 2015, 03:45

Hey guys.
Anyone got a Boba Fett costume they want to sell, or know of anyone?
I can't afford the £3k that RS are asking so unless anyone knows of another source, I guess I'm looking at second hand! ?

Thanks everyone

I've researched doing this rs will be cheap compared to boba makers fibre glass. I would just ask on dented helmet that you want to buy a complete kit but they rarely go less than £1500

wow thats extortionate -just a quick question on the issue - why is armour so expensive exactly? Is it the cost to make or are vendors just taking advantage of fans?

I contacted bobmaker a few weeks ago in ref to same thing. their quote was £4475 and his next available slot is Aug NEXT year. way out of my price range. I am a member of the dented helmet forum and there does not seem to be complete sets for sale, as I am looking for one too

If you want the best that is the price you have to pay and with a waiting list until next August there are obviously plenty of people willing to pay... Wink

I always presumed a boba kit would be fairly cheap, but I guess there's a lot of little details that'll take time.

But using the plans on that link above you could make all the armour parts pretty simply with worbla
