IMPERIAL TIE PILOT

Some helmet may need modifications to qualify them for clearance. As a guide here are the key requirements
Accurate Shape and Size - required
Bubble or flat lenses in grey or green - required
Standard all Black or movie featured Hero paint schemes. No custom paint jobs allowed - required
Teeth may be drilled out and backed with mesh - optional
Resin or Machined Imperial disc greeblies added to ears - required
Forehead spikes added - required
Ear cones - optional
Rear Pill Box - molded or added using found item or scratch built
Two 2.75" diameter Imperial Emblems in either white or silver should be on the crest of the helmet - Required
Hoses: REQUIRED
Black Ribbed Hoses with a 1.25" diameter and 18" to 21" in length from the helmet hose port to connect to the chestbox upper hose ports. most DIY shops will sell these in the plumbing sections although Gas Mask hoses are recommended by costumers due to their flexability
Balaclava: REQUIRED
Black Balaclava and/or neck seal is required to be worn under the helmet so that no hair or skin can be seen.
Flight Suit: REQUIRED
Flight suit should be made to resemble that which is seen on the screen.
Costume base or other fan made suits are accepted.
Pay attention to the pockets, comm pad sleave and Cog emblems on the upper arms
Ensure zip / fastener is not visible.
The flight suit should be loose fitting but not too baggy
Comm Pad: REQUIRED
The comm pad should sit in a pocket that is visible between the left elbow and gauntlet of the glove.
Code Cylinders: OPTIONAL
Code Cylinders should be carried in the left shoulder pocket
Armor: REQUIRED
Front and back armor
Two shoulder straps anchored by an octagon of plastic on each end.
Black Nylon webbing or elastic should connect the front and back pieces at the sides
The shoulder straps should not be load bearing as they will quickly crack.
Chestbox: REQUIRED
The chestbox is required to have the same configurations as seen in the films. Fan made, scratch built and SDS will be considered for approval if they come close enough to what is show in any visual links. Please note, there are several 1" square x 1/8th" configurations that are to be approved. 2 white, 2 blue / 1 Red, 1 White, 2 Blue, 1 Gray, 1 White, 2 Blue. The rockers are always 2 Gray with dots or lamps in their bottom (LEDs or Lights are totally optional but should be approved.)
The chestbox attaches to the front armour. Velcro is recommended
Belt: REQUIRED WITH RECOMENDED BUCKLE TYPE
Standard Imperial Black Belt. We accept costume base style belts
Gloves: REQUIRED
Motorcycle Gauntlet style gloves are required. However, only lateral lines from the wrist to the knuckles should be considered or without stitching.
Boots: REQUIRED
German Jackboots are recommended as most accurate. These are commonly available at around £40
